Stichting Je Maintiendrai Beheer

Stichting Je Maintiendrai Beheer is a majority shareholder in NDC Houdstermaatschappij. Je Maintiendrai was estabished in the final years of the Second World War, and published illegally. After the war, it grew from a 50% shareholder in Friese Pers to a majority shareholder of NDC|VBK publishers. The foundation symbolises the independence of the books and newspapers published by NDC|VBK publishers. In addition, it aims to contribute to social development in the three northern provinces of the Netherlands. This is achieved by subsidising projects and activities in the areas of culture, economics, education, sport, welfare and science. Stichting Je Maintiendrai Fonds focuses on the last of these. Stichting Je Maintiendrai Beheer exercises the rights attaching to the shares. The two foundations are closely linked.

Heidehuis
Heidehuis B.V. is a management company run by the Hazewinkel family. All Heidehuis shareholders are direct descendents of Ruurt Hazewinkel Jzn, the founder of Nieuwsblad van het Noorden (Groningen, 1888).

Friesland Bank Investments has been active for more than 25 years as a committed shareholder and expert dialogue partner for medium-sized enterprises. It currently has approximately € 200 million invested in sixty companies in very diverse branches of industry. Friesland Bank Investments is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Friesland Bank N.V. Its northern roots are reflected in its realistic and perhaps somewhat individual approach. As a shareholder Friesland Bank Investments likes to act as a committed dialogue partner whose expertise can assist the company involved.

ING N.V.
Trough its subsidiary company ING Corporate Investments B.V. (“ING CI”) ING Bank N.V is one of the shareholders of NDC|VBK.
ING CI provides venture capital to large and medium-sized companies in the Benelux. They focus on companies with a leading position in a sector or specific niche and a management board with an excellent track record.
ING CI offers specific solutions in various situations like investments for extension, acquisitions, (management-) buy-outs and balance optimization.
To this they have an extensive range of products, vary from share capital to (convertible) subordinated loans and preference shares. During the last ten years ING CI has invested more dan € 3 billion in the shape of share capital and mezzanine products in several companies and sectors.
